The Town of Elizabethtown is requesting assistance from its Water Utility Customers.
As part of ongoing efforts to comply with the revised Lead and Copper Rule (LCR), the Town of Elizabethtown is surveying to identify and verify the materials of water service lines throughout our community.
According to the Public Works Department, this is a critical step to ensure the safety and quality of the drinking water. The customer’s contribution will help ensure the safety of the water system and provide valuable data to meet regulatory requirements. The Town anticipates that fewer than 1% of homes in Elizabethtown will have lead service lines but must confirm this information.
Residents and businesses are requested to help by completing a quick self-service-line inspection survey. Participation will assist in identifying any lead components in the water distribution system and help maintain compliance with state and federal water safety regulations.
Utility customers are asked to:
1. Inspect the service line that enters the home/building.
2. Complete the survey by following the link below or scanning the QR code.

Surveys need to be completed by 10/11/2024. For more information, call the Town of Elizabethtown Office at 910- 862-2066
