Cumberland Soil and Water Conservation District will host the No-Till Drill Demo and Field Day on Wednesday, Dec. 4, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The event will be held at Gallberry Corn Maze, 5992 Braxton Road in Hope Mills.
This informative event will provide participants with valuable insights into conservation practices, cost-share programs, and resources available through the Soil and Water Conservation District and the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about various NRCS programs, soil health, and conservation practices, including a grain drill demonstration, soil health and rainfall simulators, and presentations from local experts.
Nathan Lowder, NRCS Regional Soil Health Specialist, will be the keynote speaker, sharing expertise on improving soil health and the benefits of no-till farming.
