The trucks are back! Update on Bethany Food Trucks zoning issue

After a zoning issue caused a local food truck park in Stedman to cease operations, community members were frustrated. 

A few weeks ago it was announced that Bethany Food Trucks, a staple in the Stedman community for about three years now, was being forced to put their business on hold due to an anonymous complaint that led to the involvement of the Cumberland County Zoning Board. 

Now, the owner of Bethany Food Trucks has shared that the trucks will be returning through the end of the year. The property owner is still in the process of getting the lot rezoned from residential to commercial; however, permission has been granted for the food trucks to operate at the park these final months of 2024.
