Women's Business Center of Fayetteville seeks volunteers for annual fashion show

The Women’s Business Center of Fayetteville at CEED (WBCFay) is seeking volunteers in preparation for an event that directly supports their HERWEEK Pitch Contests held multiple times throughout the year.
Each year, the organization collaborates with local formal wear shop An Affair to Remember on their annual fashion show.
The show, returning for its 15th year on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025, operates as a celebration of style, empowerment and community support and serves as a fundraiser to support local women in business. Proceeds from the show contribute to a grant provided to the Center for Economic Empowerment and Development (CEED), aiding efforts to uplift women entrepreneurs.
In 2023, the show helped to raise $10,000 which is presented CEED each year during their annual HERWeek.
WBC Fay has been able to award $31,000 in grants over the past three years due to the funds raised during the show.
This Year, the WBC Fay will be coordinating volunteers for hair and makeup for the inspiring Women of Power walking the runway and the young women in the fashion show. The organization is currently seeking hair and makeup volunteers for the event from around 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
