BAYADA Home Health Care celebrated its commitment to the people of Fayetteville and surrounding communities today, Nov. 19, with a ribbon cutting ceremony at its Fayetteville office.
Since acquiring HealthKeeperz two years ago, BAYADA has worked diligently to integrate its services seamlessly into the local health care landscape.
“I believe the reason that HealthKeeperz chose BAYADA, just as much as we chose HealthKeeperz, was the mission: our values, core values, compassion, excellence and reliability. We had the ability to scale, and some of the benefits of being in business so long, and also in different states, but what we were aligned on was that mission to serve more [and] to do it with compassion, excellence and reliability. And I remember Tim [Brooks] stating that, and so it's always been a good relationship. The handoff was smooth, and we're thankful that many of our employees are originally from HealthKeeperz, and we've also recruited additional [staff] to serve the needs of the community,” shared Richard Hopson, Regional Director for BAYADA Home Health Care.
In 2018, BAYADA changed its status from a privately held company to a nonprofit organization—a decision to augment its mission of empowering people to enjoy a safe home life with comfort, independence and dignity.
BAYADA’s expanded presence in the region will enable a wider range of services, including:
BAYADA’s Fayetteville Home Health office is located at 2944 Breezewood Avenue Suite 102 Fayetteville, NC. There’s roughly about 30 staff currently and Hopson shared they are still recruiting all disciplines, especially nursing.
“Fayetteville is an area that we feel like needs additional home health services to meet the needs of the community. As part of our expansion, that mission to serve millions worldwide, you have to do it–it sounds very global–but it really starts community by community, clinician by clinician, caregiver to caregiver, client by client. And so it's our incremental way of making that vision come true,” added Hopson.
BAYADA Home Health Care was founded by J. Mark Baiada in 1975 and provides a full continuum of home health care services, including nursing, rehabilitation therapy, hospice care, and assistive care.
