An all you can eat experience unique to downtown Fayetteville will be returning for its second year.
Ichi kaku 一角 Japanese restaurant, known for its selection of Japanese street food, yummy imported desserts and most importantly, its in house made ramen is bringing back its Ramen eating contest following a successful inaugural event that took place in August of last year.
Ichi kaku Owner and Head Chef Yohei Kamiya shared that he started the event as another way to bring something unique for the community to enjoy while also shedding some light on the restaurant's signature dish.
This year, a new round of five competitors will be going bowl to bowl to see who can eat the most of a seven pound bowl Tonkotsu Ramen (with the soup) and be crowned the champion.
The event will take place Saturday, Nov. 30 at the restaurant located at 350 N. Eastern Blvd in Fayetteville.
