Arts Council of Fayetteville/Cumberland County releases a Call for a Curator

The Arts Council of Fayetteville/Cumberland County in conjunction with the City of Fayetteville and the Fayetteville Regional Airport is seeking an experienced and creative curator for two rotational exhibits per year inside the Fayetteville Regional Airport (one exhibit every six months). The exhibits will highlight regional artists and reflect the diverse cultural heritage and contemporary art scene of Fayetteville, Cumberland County and the broader southeastern region of North Carolina.

This is an exciting opportunity to engage both travelers and the local community by transforming the airport into a dynamic space for art.

Project goals include: 

• Enhancing the aesthetic experience for travelers and the local community through art.
• Promoting local and regional artists by showcasing their work in a high-traffic public space.
• Create two distinct, high-quality exhibits per year that reflect the culture, history, or creativity of Fayetteville and its surrounding areas.

The City of Fayetteville and The Arts Council are accepting Requests for Proposals (RFP) until Feb.16, 2025. See the full RFP here.
