Miller’s Brew Coffee Shop announces grand opening date for their second location

Local coffee shop Miller’s Brew is set to open their second location on Wednesday, March 12 at 4 p.m. at West Regional Library, located at 7469 Century Circle, in Fayetteville.

Miller's Brew is a mission-driven, non-profit café that connects, trains and employs young adults with developmental disabilities. Founded by Karl and Kim Molnar, Miller’s Brew Coffee Shop has been operating out of one location at 1401 Morganton Rd in Fayetteville since opening in February 2023. Now, they will be expanding into Café West at West Regional Library.

West Regional Library was built in 2010 with a cafe space, but it wasn’t until Assistant County Manager and Library Director Faith B. Phillips joined the library staff in 2021 that someone saw the potential for the space and began the work to see it be put to good use.

A symbolic key transfer ceremony took place on Monday, Nov. 25, 2024 to officially welcome Miller’s Brew Coffee Shop into the space which, until the announcement, was previously used as storage space.

This new location will allow Miller’s Brew to connect with and train even more crew members, and continue to serve up great coffee and create meaningful connections.
