Fayetteville Area Habitat for Humanity hosts Women Build 2025 celebrating International Women’s Month

Fayetteville Area Habitat for Humanity is hosting their annual Women’s Build instructional event Thursday-Saturday, March 6- 8, 2025, at Fayetteville Area Habitat ReStore located at 3833 Bragg Blvd in Fayetteville.

International Women's Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality.

All in one day, women will learn DIY skills such as drywall, plumbing, electrical and tool safety. At the end of the classes, each woman will build and personalize a step stool to take home.

Check-in for pre-registration starts at 8:30 a.m. The start time is 9:00 a.m. every year, FAHFH celebrates women in the community and builds together as one.
