On a roll; Legacy Rolls celebrates grand opening in Spring Lake, NC

Legacy Rolls, a new, family-owned restaurant in Spring Lake, North Carolina, is proud to announce it is now open for business following a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony that took place on Saturday, March 8.

The restaurant, located just outside of Fayetteville at 1161 N. Bragg Blvd. in Spring Lake, was founded by father and son duo Jerry and Justin Canada, and draws on over 150 years of family tradition and history.

The Canadas can trace their family lineage back to Kinston, North Carolina pre-emancipation. At the heart of Legacy Rolls is an heirloom sweet roll recipe passed down through generations, which forms the basis for a menu that offers flavorful takes on classic breakfast and lunch/dinner sandwiches.

“The idea behind Legacy Rolls is to celebrate our family history and bring people together through our love for food,” said Jerry Canada, co-founder of Legacy Rolls in a press release.

Legacy Rolls Menu Features:

Breakfast Menu:

Bacon (or Sausage) Egg and Cheese Sliders on freshly baked sweet rolls
Hash Sticks – crispy, golden brown hashbrowns
Coffee

Lunch/Dinner Menu:

Cheeseburger Sliders – a traditional favorite with special blend fresh beef

Fried Catfish Sliders – served with tangy purple coleslaw for a Southern flair
Fried Chicken Sliders – crispy and golden with a delicious bite and Legacy Sauce
Spicy BBQ Grilled Pork Belly Sliders – sweet and smoky with just the right amount of heat
Hand Cut French Fries -made in-house that are soft inside with a crispy exterior

Desserts:

Cinnamon Rolls – a warm, comforting classic
Blueberry Rolls – bursting with sweet blueberries and a hint of lemony tartness

“The recipes we’re using have been passed down from our ancestors (my granddad to my dad to me), and we’re excited to share them with the Spring Lake and Fayetteville communities. We can’t wait for people to experience the flavors and traditions that bring back childhood memories and are so close to our hearts,” shared Co-Founder Justin Canada in a press release.
