Cumberland County Public Library received a $5,000 grant to fund the creation of a painted mural at West Regional Library, located at 7469 Century Circle in Fayetteville. The mural was made possible by the Arts Council of Fayetteville/Cumberland County, with support from Cumberland County, the City of Fayetteville and the N.C. Arts Council.

The mural, Blooming with Purpose, was designed and painted by artist Shari Link and is displayed in the lobby of West Regional Library, as well as in Miller’s Brew at Café West, located inside the library. Link’s botanical artwork is also featured at Miller’s Brew’s other location at 1401 Morganton Rd., Fayetteville.

The grant from the Arts Council of Fayetteville/Cumberland County helped transform the West Regional Library lobby into a botanical-themed space, enhancing the community’s library experience.
