The Fayetteville Next Advisory Commission in partnership with Fayetteville Technical Community College (FTCC) is set to host the second Next Generation Business Summit on May 8 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Horace Sisk Gymnasium on FTCC’s campus.
The Next Gen Business Summit is a free event designed for emerging professionals, entrepreneurs and business leaders that provides valuable insights into career development, business innovation and economic opportunities.
There will be two sessions hosted during the event.
The first session, “How Did You Get That Career” will feature professionals from diverse fields sharing their career journeys, challenges and key lessons learned along the way. Attendees will gain practical advice on career growth, industry trends and strategies for long-term success, along with a Q&A.
The second session, “Next Gen Entrepreneur and Innovation Panel" will explore the intersection of entrepreneurship and innovation, featuring professionals who have built successful careers and businesses while driving industry change. Panelists will share their experiences in launching and scaling businesses, navigating challenges, and adapting to an evolving marketplace.
"This is a great opportunity for people to get the tools needed to continue growing professionally within the community,” Nathan Cuffee, chair of the advisory commission stated in a press release. “Next Gen minds bringing next level success!”

The Fayetteville Next Advisory Commission was established to attract, retain and engage Fayetteville residents between the ages of 23 and 39. The commission is dedicated to improving the quality of life for young adults through targeted event programming and community outreach initiatives.
