Cumberland County will conduct minor construction to prepare for outdoor kiosk installation at key facility entrances from Tuesday, May 20, through Friday, May 23, 2025. The installations will occur at the entrances of the Judge E. Maurice Braswell Cumberland County Courthouse, the Department of Social Services (DSS), and the Department of Public Health buildings.
All facility entrances will remain open during the construction. However, residents and visitors are asked to exercise caution while entering and exiting the buildings, as temporary work zones will be in place.
These outdoor kiosks are part of a broader initiative to enhance access to services and improve the visitor experience at County facilities. Once operational, the outdoor kiosks will provide interactive displays, department directories and other useful information to guide residents efficiently to their destinations.
