JLNL Eatz is the newest food truck serving Raeford and the surrounding areas. Owned by Lanetta Copeland and her family, JLNL Eatz provides great tasting food on the go.
Copeland worked as a social worker for many years before shifting to entrepreneurship, but she developed a love for cooking at a young age and knew that starting a food business would be a great way to fuel that passion.
“I always had a passion for cooking and feeding others,” remarked Copeland.
Copeland and her family purchased a truck last summer and worked to renovate it with all the necessary equipment to make it ready for operations. With the truck ready to go, Copeland was able to celebrate the grand opening of her business on May 21.
The name, JLNL, is inspired by the initials of Copeland’s four children. While Copeland is leading the business, she receives help from her mom, husband and her four kids.
Popular menu items include wings, nachos, eggrolls, cheesesteaks, loaded salads and even homemade pound cake for dessert. JLNL Eatz provides catering services as well.
“What I’m looking forward to is making strong connections with my local community and different counties, and creating a nice rapport with my customers as well,” shared Copeland.
To stay up to date with JLNL Eatz follow them on Facebook and Instagram. You can also watch a livestream of the ribbon cutting ceremony, thanks to the Raeford- Hoke Chamber of commerce, here.
