City of Fayetteville to hold State of the City Address; Mayor Colvin invites community to 'Fayetteville 2050’

The City of Fayetteville will host ‘Fayetteville 2050’, presented by Mayor Mitch Colvin on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in City Council Chambers in City Hall.

Mayor Colvin will present a 25-year vision for the city's continued growth and transformation highlighted by the incredible accomplishments and progress in recent years.

Mayor Colvin will detail strategic priorities for advancing Fayetteville's growth and prosperity, with emphasis on economic expansion, business development, youth empowerment, transportation improvements, community safety and ongoing revitalization initiatives.

“Fayetteville has undergone remarkable transformation in recent years, and now is the time to boldly shape the next chapter of our city’s future,” said Mayor Colvin in a media release. “By working together, we can harness our momentum, build on our unique strengths, and seize the opportunities that will define the future of our growing, dynamic community.”

The event is free and open to the public. This event will be live streamed on FayTV.net and Spectrum Channel 7.
