FAST announces summer fun unlimited bus passes now available for youth

Summer fun bus passes, designed specifically for Fayetteville area youth ages 18 and under, are now available through the Fayetteville Area System of Transportation (FAST).   

“This is an exciting option for the youth in our city," said Tyffany Neal, Director of FAST in a press release. "We see this initiative as filling a critical need our young people may have when traveling to jobs, visiting friends, or attending summer activities throughout Fayetteville, and this is our commitment to ensuring that transportation is never a barrier to opportunity.”  

Running now through Aug.15, these special passes offer unlimited rides across FAST’s routes for just $15 - providing youth the opportunity to explore, work, and play throughout the summer months. 

“We hope this not only encourages greater use of our excellent public transportation system but also empowers Fayetteville's young residents to get out and fully experience all the wonderful opportunities our vibrant city has to offer,” Neal expressed in the release.  

They can be purchased at the FAST Transit Center located at 505 Franklin St., Fayetteville, NC 28301 or Carlie C’s. 

FAST operates a fleet of 30 fixed-route buses on 18 routes to provide service Monday through Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Saturday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and on Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:13 p.m.
