Harnett County is partnering with Congressman Brad Knott’s Office and the Department of Veterans Affairs to expand access to essential services and resources for Veterans and their families.
Active-duty, Veterans and their families are invited to a free Veterans Claims and Resource Event on Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., at the Harnett County Resource Center and Library, located at 455 McKinney Parkway, Lillington, N.C.
This one-day event aims to connect attendees with services, resources, and support. Highlights of the event will include:
“Our veteran population continues to grow in Harnett County,” said Assistant Director of Harnett County Veterans Services Amy Noel in a press release. “This event will allow us to connect veterans and their families with the support they need and benefits that they’ve earned through their service.”
The Veterans Claims and Resource Event is a simultaneous, drop-in style event. Attendees are welcome to stop by at any time during the event hours that best fits their schedule.
