GenX and PFAs continue to be a hot topic in the region, and the DEQ will host a teleconference community information session on Nov. 16 at 6 p.m. about actions for preventing and remediating PFAs contamination from Chemours Fayetteville Works Facility.
North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services officials will share about health effects of exposure and how to prevent it.
Community members who register in advance will have the opportunity to ask questions; there will also be a chat feature enabled for people who want to ask presenters questions.
