By Staff Report, posted Nov 15, 2021 on BizFayetteville.com

A new business is coming to downtown Fayetteville, the Women’s Business Center of Fayetteville says.

Central Carolina Doulas will celebrate its grand opening during the first week of December.

The company, owned by Aida Algarin, plans to offer certified birth and postpartum support as well as childbirth classes. CEED and The Women’s Business Center of Fayetteville at CEED are assisting with the launch.

“Central Carolina Doulas believes that confidence is key and support is the cornerstone of one’s birth and postpartum journey. With this in mind, Aida and her team have assembled a team of doulas that share in this vision and maintain the same high standards in providing compassionate support to expecting families,” WBCFay said in an email.

The ribbon cutting for Central Carolina Doulas will take place at 154 Bow Street on Dec. 7 at 5 p.m. Vagabond Cafe will provide free coffee and treats will be available from Sweet Palette.
