Temporary closure of Golfview Road and Moulder Street begins in Hope Mills

The Town of Hope Mills has issued a notice to inform residents of the temporary closure of a portion of Golfview Road as well as Moulder Street as part of the ongoing NCDOT widening and infrastructure project currently under construction.

Closure Schedule for Golfview Road:

Begins: Friday, Sept. 12, 2025, at 7:00 p.m.

Ends: Monday, Sept. 15, 2025, at 6:00 p.m.

Access during closure

Residents on Nicolet Drive and Paragon Point → Please access via Nicolet Drive and Rockfish Road or Nicolet Drive and Golfview Road.

Citizens visiting the Cumberland County Public Library → Please access via Rockfish Road and Golfview Road.

Closure schedule for Moulder Street:

Begins: Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2025

Ends: Monday, Sept. 15, 2025

Access during closure

Residents on Bolt Drive are being asked to reroute using Rockfish Road to Johnson Street to Newton Street/Moulder Street to Casper Street to Archer Road to Bolt Drive for access.

Signage and notifications will be installed throughout the area to provide clear detour directions and closure dates. Please refer to the attached maps for the location of barricades, detour routes and message board signage.

As this was an area of a previous closure, one change is that one entrance to the Cumberland County Public Library will remain open to the public.
