Cumberland County has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for an operator for a temporary emergency shelter service provider and facility for individuals and families experiencing homelessness in the community.
Cumberland County is seeking the RFP due to the recent displacements of individuals and families with children and closures of emergency temporary shelters in Cumberland County. The two types of partnership options considered for a temporary emergency shelter are service providers only or service providers with a facility. Providers with or without facilities should plan to provide sheltering for 50-60 individuals and/or families with children.
