Raven Advisory hosts historic First Flight Event at Raven DOME

Raven Advisory LLC successfully completed its First Flight Event at the Raven DOME (Digital Operations Mobility Environment), a two-day event held in Maxton, N.C. that welcomed leaders from the community, industry and military. The demonstration showcased the future of unmanned systems, robotics integration and scenario-driven training at one of the nation's most advanced operational readiness facilities.

Founded on a vision articulated by President and CEO Sheffield Ford "to be part of building the new railroad across the United States, in the sky," Raven Advisory has transformed that vision into reality.

The Raven DOME now provides a comprehensive digital mobility environment that supports commercial, government and military users in testing, evaluating, researching and integrating drone and robotic technologies into real-world operations.

The First Flight Demonstration highlighted:

Long-distance Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) operations across Raven's 1,100-square-mile COA
Package delivery methods including landing, winching and parachute systems
Live demonstrations of Group 1–5 UAS capabilities
A multi-domain military scenario, integrating drones and ground robotics into a realistic operation

Every moment of the First Flight event, from pre-flight checks to mission completion, was designed to highlight the realism, readiness and results that Raven Advisory provides.

"This is just the beginning," said Ford in a press release. "The Raven DOME is built to support the next generation of operational readiness; where commercial, military and allied partners can come together to test, train and prepare for what's next."

The Raven DOME encompasses 1,300 acres of specialized training grounds near Fort Bragg, N.C., with unique zoning, permits and licenses that allow unprecedented flexibility. This capability enables Raven Advisory to deliver customized, scenario-driven training and testing for clients across multiple domains.
