Cumberland County’s Planning & Inspections Department, in collaboration with the Town of Hope Mills, invites residents to help shape the future of the Town of Hope Mills and its surrounding areas by attending the Hope Mills Area Land Use Plan Community Kickoff Meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2025, from noon to 7 p.m. at the Hope Mills Parks & Recreation Center, located at 5766 Rockfish Road in Hope Mills.

This drop-in style community meeting allows residents to stop by at their convenience to share ideas, ask questions and learn more about the planning process. Community input will help guide the development of a long-term vision that reflects the values and goals of the Hope Mills area.

Residents who are unable to attend the meeting are strongly encouraged to complete the Hope Mills Area Community Survey. The open-ended survey allows residents to provide feedback on priorities for growth, development, transportation, housing and more. Residents can access the survey at bit.ly/hopemillssurvey.
