Businesses can give back with Giving Tuesday initiative

Giving Tuesday, an initiative that happens each year on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, promotes charitable donations to nonprofits. Nationwide, both large and small businesses participate in Giving Tuesday. 

Cumberland Community Foundation has made it easy to locate nonprofits in the Cumberland County area with its catalogue of 67 organizations. 

“We are excited to share that Cumberland Community Foundation, the Manning Family, and the Fayetteville New Car Dealers Association will be matching up to $400,000 in gifts received throughout this Giving Tuesday campaign,” CCF said on their website, “so be sure to donate today in order to have your gift amplified!”

The catalogue will be open until tomorrow at 5 p.m.
