Dragon's Lair continues with Episode Six pitches in December

Dragon’s Lair, a shark-tank style competition by the U.S. Army’s XVIII Airborne Corps, continues with Episode Six on Monday, Dec. 6.

At that time, eight finalists will pitch innovations to a panel of judges on “solutions to inefficiencies regarding any aspect of Army programs, training, or policies.”

In the past, the participants in the competition have been from the Army. This time, Dragon’s Lair will be opened up to sister services in the Department of Defense. Two finalists are from the U.S. Army; two are from the U.S. Army Reserve; one is from the U.S. Navy; one is from the U.S. Marine Corps; and two are from the U.S. Air Force.

The panel will consist of senior leaders from the Department of Defense, U.S. Coast Guard and other industry experts.

The winners of Dragon’s Lair, Episode Six will be announced on Dec. 8.
