Dr. Daniel A. McInnis honored with The Order of the Long Leaf Pine Award

Dr. Daniel A. McInnis, a longtime Fayetteville resident and dentist at Village Family Dental, has been honored with The Order of the Long Leaf Pine Award. The Order of the Long Leaf Pine is awarded to persons for exemplary service to the State of North Carolina and their communities that is above and beyond the call of duty and which has made a significant impact and strengthened North Carolina.

Dr. McInnis has devoted more than 50 years to caring for patients and serving his community. A lifelong North Carolinian, he began practicing dentistry in St. Pauls after graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill and UNC Dental School.

Beyond dentistry, Dr. McInnis has served faithfully at First Presbyterian Church of Fayetteville for over 60 years, earning the title of Elder Emeritus three years ago, and he has served on the boards of several local organizations including the Family Life Center and Cape Fear Botanical Garden.

“I am a proud Fayetteville, North Carolina citizen and faithful Tar Heel. It is an honor to be considered as a recipient of the Order of the Long Leaf Pine,” remarked McInnis.
