New indie bookstore and wine bar to open in downtown Fayetteville on Nov. 22

Bound & Vine, a new bookstore and wine shop, will celebrate its grand opening on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025. Located at 134 Person Street in downtown Fayetteville, the shop offers a space where books, wine and community come together.

The grand opening event will offer a variety of activities throughout the day. Doors open at 11:00 a.m., with the first 50 guests receiving a small gift. Featured local author signings are scheduled as follows:

12:00 p.m.: Stevi Mager – Author of "Prey No More," Stevi writes fantasy and romance inspired by her lifelong love of storytelling. She also publishes contemporary romance under the pen name Stevi Evelise.
2:00 p.m.: K.B. McKay – Author of "Within the Realm of Night and Shadow," the first in The Realms of Fate Saga. K.B.'s work invites readers into a world of epic fantasy, weaving adventure and magic with richly imagined characters and high-stakes quests.
4:00 p.m.: J.R. Gray-Heim (Josh Grayheim) – A North Carolina native, Josh’s work explores themes of belonging and authenticity, drawing on personal experiences from his upbringing in Dallas, NC.

Live acoustic music will take place from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Bound & Vine was founded with the goal of creating a supportive space for the Fayetteville community, including military families, to connect and enjoy books and wine. The store’s mission focuses on providing a place for conversation, cultural enrichment, and meaningful connection.

"The vision for Bound & Vine is to be more than a bookshop; but a sanctuary for exploration, empowerment, and escape," said Owner Kellie Artis in a press release. "We look forward to welcoming everyone as we open our doors to the Fayetteville community."
