QDOBA Mexican Eats®, a leading fast-casual Mexican restaurant, has opened its first location in Fayetteville, N.C. On Tuesday, Nov. 25, the restaurant gathered with the community and the Greater Fayetteville Chamber at their new location at 2080 Skibo Road for a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony.
QDOBA executives shared their excitement at entering the market and bringing more than 25 jobs to the area. QDOBA arrives in Fayetteville alongside Thrive Restaurant Group, owned and operated by President and CEO Jon Rolph, who is helping the brand expand its presence in the Fayetteville market.
During the ceremony, Rolph shared the news that this is the first of three locations planned for Fayetteville with more to come state wide.

“We love Fayetteville, we’ve been a part of this community for a few years through our Applebee’s, and our plan is to have three QDOBAs here also. We’re building one over on Ramsey,” shared Rolph. “But this team is setting our reputation for QDOBA in this market, and we're thrilled to be a part of it, to grow, to continue to invest in Fayetteville. We plan to open about 13 of these a year in North and South Carolina over the next four or five years, but it all started right here.”
Known for its freshly prepared burritos, bowls, free hand-smashed guacamole and signature three-cheese queso, QDOBA will offer residents and guests a variety of Mexican-inspired foods, including its own signature dishes as well as customizable meals.
“We are thrilled to welcome Thrive Restaurant Group to our growing QDOBA family and expand our mission of bringing flavor to people’s lives throughout the Sandhills region,” said John Cywinski, CEO of QDOBA, in a press release. “We have set the standard for delicious, freshly prepared food through our signature dishes and customizable meals and are pleased to bring QDOBA’s signature flavors and everyday value to residents throughout the Fayetteville area.”
QDOBA uses ingredients freshly prepared in-house daily. Guests may enjoy one of its signature eats for convenience and ease or customize their own burritos, bowls, tacos, quesadillas, nachos and salads to suit their personal tastes and cravings.
The new QDOBA restaurant is open seven days a week from 10:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. This location will offer online ordering at QDOBA.com and through the QDOBA app, where guests can earn rewards for future visits.
