DistiNCtly Fayetteville appoints Kyle Molivas as sports sales manager

DistiNCtly Fayetteville, the destination marketing organization for greater Fayetteville, North Carolina, has announced the appointment of Kyle Molivas as sports sales manager. In this role, Molivas will support the organization’s sports tourism efforts by assisting with the recruitment and servicing of tournaments and sporting events that drive visitation to Cumberland County.
Molivas will work alongside the director of sales & sports commission to help build relationships with event organizers, support bid efforts and assist with event planning and execution throughout the destination.
He most recently served as a sales representative with Stricklands Portion Pak, where he managed customer relationships and supported territory growth using a consultative, relationship-based approach. His professional background also includes experience in logistics and operations, having previously worked in warehouse and delivery support roles.
Molivas is a graduate of Methodist University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental and occupational management. While at Methodist, he was a two-year captain of the university’s NCAA baseball team, developing leadership and communication skills through competitive collegiate athletics.
“Kyle’s background in sales, operations and team leadership will be an asset to our sports tourism efforts,” said Robert Cox, director of sales and sports commission for DistiNCtly Fayetteville, in a press release. “His experience working directly with clients, combined with his time as a collegiate team captain, aligns well with the collaborative nature of this role.”
