Planet Fitness opens in Hope Mills

Planet Fitness has opened its Hope Mills club at 3333 N. Main St., Hope Mills, N.C., in the space previously occupied by Surge Trampoline Park.

As a grand opening special, Hope Mills members who join by Feb. 13 can get their first month free with either the PF Black Card® or the Classic Card membership.

The 42,315-square-foot facility offers the following amenities:

Best-in-class strength equipment, including free weights, expansive strength machines and plate-loaded bench presses, hack squats and a seated calf machine
More than 61 state-of-the-art pieces of cardio equipment
Functional training room, including a turf area for agility training
Dedicated HIIT (high intensity interval training) area with air bikes and rowers
Dedicated mobility and stretching space
Black Card Spa ® for PF Black Card ® members with HydroMassage ® loungers, massage chairs, Recovery Loungers and salon-grade hybrid tanning beds

TVs with wireless connections to all cardio equipment

“Planet Fitness Hope Mills is designed to elevate the workout experience for all fitness levels,” said CEO of Excel Fitness CJ Bouchard in a press release. Excel Fitness is one of the largest franchisees of Planet Fitness.

In addition to the free fitness training, every Planet Fitness membership includes access to strength and brand-name cardio equipment and the free Planet Fitness App featuring hundreds of on-demand digital exercises. The balanced mix of cardio and strength equipment ensures members of all fitness levels have everything they need to meet their fitness goals.

The PF Black Card® membership includes additional amenities, such as the ability to bring a guest every day at no additional charge, access to the Black Card Spa® and access to 2,800+ Planet Fitness locations across all 50 states.

As Excel’s 29th club in the Raleigh-Durham-Fayetteville market, Planet Fitness Hope Mills is open and staffed as follows: Monday: 5:00 a.m. to midnight, Tuesday-Thursday: midnight to midnight, Friday: midnight to 10 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
