Sweet news, Southern Pines: Peach Cobbler Factory opens new location on Feb. 21

Something sure to satisfy a sweet tooth is coming soon to Southern Pines.

The Peach Cobbler Factory, a rapidly growing franchise known for its fruit cobblers, banana pudding, cobbler shakes and other desserts, will open its 15th North Carolina location at noon on Saturday, Feb. 21.

Located at 10574 U.S. Highway 15-501 in Southern Pines, the store marks the company’s first location in the Sandhills region. Other North Carolina locations are in larger cities, including Raleigh, Durham, Charlotte and Fuquay-Varina.

The company announced in July 2025 that franchise interest was growing across Southern states, with additional locations planned in metro areas such as Miami; Orlando, Florida; Atlanta; Memphis, Tennessee; Dallas; Louisville, Kentucky; Tallahassee, Florida; Jackson, Mississippi; and Houston.

In just over three years, the company has grown to 115 locations in 22 states and reports a strong pipeline of future development.

“When we began franchising, we were pretty confident that our concept would thrive and grow in the South. In fact, our tagline is ‘It’s a Southern Thang!’ What has been a very pleasant surprise is the acceptance we have seen in so many of America’s larger cities and metro areas both inside and outside the Southern states,” said CEO Greg George in a press release.

“We are discovering that regardless of where people live, almost everyone in America really loves to enjoy our warm peach cobbler with cold vanilla ice cream. It’s a true American favorite. So, the long-term game plan for our brand is simple — we want to make sure that eventually there will be a Peach Cobbler Factory location nearby for everyone in America to enjoy.”

The Southern Pines location will be open seven days a week from noon to 10 p.m. Customers can follow the store’s Facebook page for the latest updates.
