Tech talent continues to be in high demand in Fayetteville

The latest stats on technology trends in North Carolina from NCTECH are out. 

In October of this year, the number of IT jobs posted in the Fayetteville MSA were up 33 percent from October 2020.

The number of IT job postings increased 64% from the November 2020 numbers with 496 job postings in November 2021.  

In fact, every MSA in North Carolina saw an increase in job postings since November of last year except Rocky Mount, which saw a 7 percent decrease in the postings. 

Across the state, there are 46,475 open IT roles. 

That number aligns with the national trend of demand for tech talent with 1,462,255 IT jobs open across the country, a 59 percent increase from this time last year.
