After facing substantial delays in the past, the 6,594 square-foot tennis center is expected to open soon with a grand opening date planned for early May 2026.

City leadership encouraged the community to come out and enjoy the amenities when the court officially opens with youth and adult programs already being advertised.
“I'll oversee the facility itself, work to provide programming for our sides, both on the pickleball and the tennis side, and work with areas to bring in tournaments both with Cumberland County Schools and with our local tennis associations. We’ve got a lot of things planned,” shared Kristen Daniels, athletic director for Fayetteville Cumberland Parks & Recreation.
