Generations of Strength: Formal Affair celebrates women who shape our communities

With the divine faith of an angel, the strength of a fierce lioness and the intentional, unconditional love that nurtures generations, Greater Life of Fayetteville honors the extraordinary women in our lives whose wisdom, sacrifice, resilience and unwavering guidance continue to shape families and communities across generations. 

Greater Life of Fayetteville's People In Need (PIN) Program warmly invites women and young mothers to JUST US For Women - "She Shaped Me," a special formal gathering honoring the profound dedication of our mothers, grandmothers, aunties and mentors who have inspired enduring legacies that will continue to uplift generations to come. 

The event will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Historic Orange Street School, 600 Orange St. Fayetteville, NC. 

This memorable afternoon of encouragement and reflection is thoughtfully designed to uplift and inspire connections through empowering stories, shared experiences and heartfelt conversations honoring the women who have shaped our lives. It will be a joyful celebration for women to experience cultural cuisine and warm fellowship in an elegant atmosphere. 

Guests are encouraged to bring a cherished item, photo, keepsake, or special story representing their mother, grandmother, auntie or mentor to share with and inspire the younger generation.
