Lori’s Ace Home and hardware announces new Meat Masters Class coming May 16

BBQ fans are invited to learn how to make award-winning BBQ ribs this May at the new Meat Masters class at Lori’s Ace Home & Hardware.

The class will be on Saturday, May 16 from 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at Lori’s Ace Home & Hardware at 2800 Raeford Road in Fayetteville.

BBQ champion Bobby Brinson, owner of Vicious Pig BBQ, will be the presenter and cook. Brinson has nearly 15 years of experience competing in BBQ competitions and has won numerous awards for his BBQ ribs.

Bobby Brinson is the owner of Vicious Pig BBQ in Stedman, NC. He has been professionally grilling and competing since 2011 and competed on the BBQ Pitmasters television show. Originally from Fayetteville, NC, he has won numerous awards for his ribs, brisket, chicken and pork.

During the class, participants will learn how to:

Select the right meat
Prepare the ribs for cooking
Use a Big Green Egg and Louisiana wood pellet grill
Identify various rib flavor profiles
Understand taste, tenderness and texture of the meat

At the end, participants will reap the benefits of their learnings by eating scrumptious ribs.

The admission fee is $50 with 100% going to the School of Hope in Fayetteville, a specialized school for children with autism. Advance reservations are required and space is limited to 12 participants.
