Haraz Coffee is now open for business at 8614 Fayetteville Road in Raeford.

This is the owners’ third Haraz Coffee location. They also operate cafés in Apex and Raleigh. The inspiration for expanding into Raeford was to introduce authentic Yemeni coffee culture to an area that doesn’t currently have anything like it.

“We saw an opportunity to bring something unique, culturally rich, and community-driven to Raeford and the greater Fayetteville area,” shared Haraz Marketing Manager Alexa Solorzano.

Haraz Coffee, as a brand, was originally founded in Michigan, but the Apex café marked the beginning of bringing this concept to North Carolina under local ownership.

“Our main goal is to continue expanding while staying rooted in excellent customer service and authentic experiences. We want every guest who walks into Haraz Coffee to feel welcomed, cared for, and introduced to something new. Beyond growth, we focus heavily on consistency, quality, and community involvement — hosting events, collaborating with local creators, and creating a space where people want to gather, work, and connect,” shared Solorzano.

Some of the fan favorite menu items include the Bee Bites, which pair perfectly with coffee, and the Pistachio Latte, which has become a customer favorite for its rich, nutty flavor. The shop is also known for its traditional Yemeni coffee, specialty lattes, matcha drinks and fresh pastries that you won’t typically find in standard coffee shops.

“We’re most proud of how quickly the community has embraced Haraz Coffee and the culture behind it. Seeing customers become regulars, watching people bring friends to try Yemeni coffee for the first time, and creating a space that feels warm, inviting, and memorable has been incredibly rewarding. It’s fulfilling to know we’re not just serving coffee, but sharing a cultural experience and building community around it,” added Solorzano.
