Fayetteville has a new flag and seal featuring designs that align with the regional Can Do Carolina brand.
The branding initiative launched in December of 2020, and the Fayetteville City Council adopted the designs during their last regular meeting of 2021.
The Fayetteville Collaborative Branding Committee was made up of a variety of stakeholders in the region, to include the City of Fayetteville, Cumberland County, the Fayetteville Cumberland Economic Development Corporation, the Arts Council of Fayetteville/Cumberland County, the Fayetteville Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, Cool Spring Downtown District and the Greater Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce.
The City recently updated their visual identity to reflect the new branding, as did several other regional entities who support the initiative.
The rebranding project was and is intended to connect the region’s resources and was designed after research, public forums and internal collaboration.
