Today, May 20, Ben Stout Construction broke ground on the second phase of its Caelin Farms community in Spring Lake.

“Phase two of Caelin Farms will help create a neighborhood where families can build lasting memories for generations to come,” shared Ben Stout Construction’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Ricky Evans, as he welcomed guests to the event.

The groundbreaking for the additional development of Caelin Farms was held at 552 Open Range Road.

“This is a very, very monumental moment for our town, Spring Lake…we are a community that loves each other, and we're a community that's going to continue to grow because of people like you, like this company, Ben Stout investing and seeing the value of this community. You're providing residences not just for ordinary people, but for our soldiers, for our Veterans, our families,” shared Spring Lake Mayor Kia Anthony during the ceremony.

Caelin Farms features affordable homes ranging from three to five bedrooms with prices starting at $274,000. Ben Stout Construction is working with TIER One Real Estate to sell the homes in the community.

“This neighborhood started a little over two years ago, and in phase one, 40 homes sold in less than two years. Once the neighborhood got going, Ben and the team couldn't build them quick enough, and this is a perfect example of the American dream, right here, because the big buzzword out there is affordable housing. We've got homes in this community that start at 274 and go all the way up into the low 300s, and that’s about as affordable as you can get. And this opportunity to be close to Fort Bragg, close to 295, to Fayetteville…it’s just a great location,” shared Listing Agent Tony de la Vega at the ceremony.

This second phase will feature another 40 homes, adding to the 40 homes completed in phase one.
