Cameron Carlotti, owner of Sol’s Arcade + Taproom, took to social media on May 26 to announce the unfortunate news that Sol’s would cease operations in its downtown space after June 7.
The taproom and arcade, which celebrated its grand opening on July 4, 2025, features a sports lounge with six TVs, laser shot simulators, arcade games and a 21-tap self-pour draft system. However, ongoing building-related issues and uncertainty surrounding the property have forced the team to make a tough call.
There is a possibility that the business will relocate to a space better suited for their operations, but that is still to be determined.
“We have fought hard to find a new location that could realistically house our operation, equipment, events, and community gatherings, but the reality is that suitable spaces are limited and the timeline we were given has made this incredibly difficult. While we are still searching and praying for a miracle, we also feel that honesty with our community matters more than false hope. Right now, the chances of us successfully relocating are very slim,” Carlotti shared on Facebook.
Carlotti encouraged everyone who has game credits, prizes, tickets, gift cards or anything else connected to Sol’s to begin using and redeeming them as soon as possible.
“No matter what happens next, thank you. Thank you for every game played, every karaoke song sung badly, every beer poured, every laugh shared, every event attended and every single time you chose to walk through our doors,” Carlotti concluded in the heartfelt post.
Head to Sol’s at 421 Maiden Ln, right across from Segra Stadium, for some fun before they shut their doors.
