Van Geons named to Business North Carolina’s Power List

The Fayetteville Cumberland Economic Development Corporation is proud to celebrate President & CEO Robert Van Geons for earning a place on Business North Carolina’s Power List for the sixth consecutive year. Since joining FCEDC in 2017, Van Geons has been a driving force behind transformative investment, job creation and regional momentum, elevating Fayetteville and Cumberland County’s position across North Carolina and beyond. This continued honor reflects his leadership and his passion for the community and the lasting opportunities that move the region forward.

Business North Carolina’s Power List 2026 spotlights about 500 of the state’s most influential leaders, who wield significant influence in business and civic spheres. It’s our effort to identify key decision-makers and agenda-setters. Nearly 200 listees shared some wisdom and insight about their organizations, interests and passions. Inclusion in the list involves judgment by the magazine’s editorial staff, based on reporting, research and nominations from the public.
