Open for business: Area restaurants celebrate soft openings throughout the month of May

The month of May saw new restaurants opening their doors and welcoming guests throughout the greater Fayetteville area, from sports bars to soul food, stop by these new businesses offering local flavors. 

Halftime Hangout 

A new sports bar is now welcoming guests out in Raeford, N.C., Halftime Hangout,  celebrated their soft opening event on Friday, May 15. 

Located at 2080 Club Pond Road, the sports bar features a menu with wings, burgers, chicken tenders, sandwiches and more, while also providing a  fan friendly atmosphere to enjoy a game or two.

What’z Better Than Grannys 

A new food truck What’z Better Than Granny’s celebrated their soft opening on Friday May 29 at 4742 Bent Pine Drive in Fayetteville. Operated by catering professional Quanna Honey, What’z Better than Grannys promises “Good ol’ soul food cooking. Featuring entrees like whiting, fried shrimp and grilled chicken, this is a food truck Fayetteville foodies will want to chase.
