Carolina College of Biblical Studies (CCBS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Steve Strickland to its Board of Directors.
Dr. Strickland currently serves as the Director of Missions for the Burnt Swamp Baptist Association in Pembroke, N.C. He is faithfully working alongside pastors and churches to strengthen ministry partnerships, encourage biblical leadership, and support the advancement of the Gospel throughout the region.
A dedicated servant leader with a passion for biblical education and ministry development, Dr. Strickland earned both his Master of Divinity (M.Div.) and Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) degrees from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, N.C.
“We are honored to welcome Dr. Strickland to the CCBS Board of Directors,” said Dr. Bill Korver, president of CCBS, in a press release. “His ministry experience, leadership within the local church community and commitment to equipping disciples for faithful service will be a tremendous asset to our mission.”
As a member of the Board of Directors, Dr. Strickland will help support the college’s mission of equipping disciples of Christ for a lifetime of servant leadership through biblical higher education.
CCBS has remained committed for more than five decades to providing Christ-centered, biblically grounded education that prepares students for ministry, missions, counseling and Christian leadership opportunities around the world.
