FTCC named to U.S. Cyber Command’s Academic Engagement Network

FTCC was recently named to the U.S. Cyber Cyber Command’s Academic Engagement Network.

FTCC is the only community college in the state to be included in the network, and joins UNC-Wilmington in representing the state.

In total, there are 84 members on the list, 14 of which are community colleges.

The network is intended to create opportunities for its members to have partnerships through collaboration. AEN also has monthly events and engagements with Command staff as part of that mission.

FTCC’s cyber accomplishments are stacking up, as the school has been designated by the Department of Homeland Security as well as the National Security Agency as a Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Two-year Education.
