It is that time of year when the temperature is getting colder and threats of snow and ice begin to interfere with events and plans; unfortunately, that’s exactly what’s happened with the Fayetteville Fury’s upcoming game.
Today, the National Indoor Soccer League team announced that it will be postponing its upcoming game.
The organization came to this decision due to potentially dangerous inclement weather forecasts in Fayetteville and the surrounding areas for this weekend. All parties involved agreed that it would be best to be proactive and reschedule for the safety of both players and fans traveling to Crown Coliseum.
The next game, which was originally scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 16, has been postponed till Feb. 24. The Fury will play at Crown Coliseum against the Columbus Rapids.
The original Feb. 24 game against Rome will now be played on March 14.
All tickets that were printed for the Jan. 16 game may be exchanged at the box office for any upcoming Fayetteville Fury game for an equally priced ticket.
