National healthcare chain opens 8th N.C. location in Fayetteville

The former Rite Aid location on the corner of Country Club Drive and Ramsey Street will open its doors tomorrow as a new Oak Street Health clinic. 

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, 12 percent of Fayetteville residents are 65 years or older; Oak Street Health is the only primary care provider to carry the AARP name and is a resource for adults on a variety of health plans, to include traditional medicare. 

For patients who need assistance travelling to and from appointments, Oak Street Health offers transfer services. 

The new location will hire 25-30 employees  and will start accepting patients tomorrow, Jan. 18. 

Greater Fayetteville Business Journal announced the incoming arrival of the clinic in September 2021.
