Thirsty Gamers Cafe celebrates grand opening, launch of fall menu

Thirsty Gamers Cafe celebrated its grand opening at 103 Person St. on Saturday, Sept. 19, unveiling its fall menu and offering special giveaways.

Thirsty Gamers Cafe is a new board game cafe owned by the family behind The Sweet Palette, which operates in the space next door. 

“There are few things I love more than coffee and community, so being a part of Thirsty Gamers Cafe, an intersection of both of those things, is a great honor and a deep joy. Watching people unplug and connect over a board game, while enjoying a beverage or a pastry (made in the bakery next door!), makes me happier than I can say in a few sentences,” shared Manager Matthew Jackson. "The feeling of witnessing folks enjoy a quality product and unique service, seeing them slow down and really be WITH their friends and neighbors - that feeling is unmatched. I am truly grateful to be a part of what Patsy, Adam, and Zack have built here."

The fall menu features Midnight Meeple, Campfire Campaign, The Golden Chai, Harvest Fizz and Roll for Pumpkin. Whether you want cold brew, a latte or an Italian soda, there's something for everybody. 

To play games, purchase a wristband for $5 for all-day access to the full game library.
