XVIII Airborne Corps to celebrate grand opening of Rally Point Bistro

The XVIII Airborne Corps is hosting a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the "Rally Point Bistro," Fort Bragg's first Campus-Style Dining Venue (CSDV), today, Sept. 29, 2026.

The Rally Point Bistro represents a major milestone in the Army Food Program's modernization strategy. Operating under a pilot program in partnership with Compass Group USA, Inc., this contractor-run venue transitions traditional military dining facilities into a modern, collegiate-style restaurant environment. Run by an on-site master chef, the bistro offers a variety of food stations, extended operating hours and a flexible $39 daily value "Freedom Dollar" meal entitlement system designed to maximize dining options for meal-card-holding Soldiers.

The venue is open to the entire garrison community— including military families, retirees and civilians—while simultaneously freeing up 92G Army Culinary Specialists to focus on tactical field feeding and readiness.

The new bistro is located at 41833 Normandy Dr. on base. Doors open Sept. 29 with a grand opening lunch from 12:30-14:00.
