Keith Raynor, partner at TRP Sumner, was appointed to the Board of the American Society of Agricultural Consultants as the southern director at the end of 2021, the accounting firm announced on Facebook recently. 
In his role, Raynor will represent 11 states: Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland. 
Raynor has been a Certified Agricultural Consultant for five years. He is the first and only person with that designation, the highest level of achievement a member can reach,  identified by the ASAC. 
The designation is earned by participating in a rigorous ASAC program; acquiring the โ€œcertification ensures that consultant service is delivered with the highest standards, integrity, and quality,โ€ the firm wrote. 
Formed in 1963, the ASAC is a nonprofit that dedicates itself to โ€œraising the ethical standards and professionalism of agricultural consultants,โ€ the firm wrote in the post. โ€œIt is the only professional association representing the entire spectrum of agricultural consulting and members are located throughout the U.S. They serve clientele both domestically and globally.
