Cool Spring Downtown District welcomes 22 businesses, including two new restaurants

Cool Spring Downtown District has released its second quarterly report for the fiscal year.
In the report, the company shared metrics on different organizations' accomplishments and growth in the community.
CSDD has welcomed 22 new businesses and has seen a 46 percent reduction in its vacancy rate. Downtown Fayetteville's market rent footprint has also increased by 14 percent this past quarter.
One of the many new business owners coming to Fayetteville shared why he chose the Cool Spring Downtown District area.
"Downtown Fayetteville is full of art, culture, diversity, and creativity in its small businesses and its people. It's the perfect environment to bring new restaurant concepts thanks to the vibrant community here," said Brian Graybill, head chef and owner of Graybill Hospitality and Napkins Restaurant.
Graybill is opening his new restaurant Pan, located at 105 Hay St. At this new location, Graybill plans to offer fresh-made sandwiches, panini, and more while using locally cured meats, produce, bread, and other goods.
Another new restaurant also coming to Downtown Fayetteville is Vibe Gastropub. This new eatery is a fully plant-based restaurant owned by Ambrey Edge. The new addition to Downtown Fayetteville is located just a few doors down from Graybill at 131 Hay St., Ste. 101.
The Cool Spring Downtown District also started its "Can Do Coldwell Banker Trolley" in the second quarter. The trolleys provide free public transportation between Historic Haymount District and Downtown Fayetteville on Fridays and Saturdays from 4-8 p.m.
Another area of growth for Cool Spring is its events and management.
"Our small team of three individuals has worked especially hard over the last several months to recruit new businesses, curate and execute new events, launch the downtown trolley program, manage the dumpster program, and so much more," Bianca Shoneman, CEO of Cool Spring Downtown District shared. "Two months into our third quarter, we're already looking forward to welcoming eight new businesses in the coming weeks and curating more exciting events downtown.”
