Central Carolina Community College to offer Harnett County job fair and virtual, job-ready boot camps

Central Carolina Community College will host three spring job fairs throughout March at several locations, with one in the Fayetteville MSA. 

On March 30, CCCC will host a job fair in Harnett County at the Dunn Community Center from 1 to 4 p.m. Companies that will be in attendance at this location include Abzena, ADUSA Distribution, Arauco North America, Bulldog Hose Company, Caterpillar Inc., Central Carolina Community College, Clay Hamilton State Farm, Clayton Animal Hospital, Gould & Goodrich, Gray Flex Systems Inc., Harnett Health, Harnett Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Johnston County Industries, Liberty Commons of Lee County, Morgan Advanced Materials, NC Department of Public Safety, Overland Contracting Inc., Randstad USA, Sanford Contractors, and Senior Helpers. 

The fairs will offer an abundance of career opportunities,  including jobs in distribution/logistics, manufacturing, robotics and engineering, insurance and financial services, electrical distribution/sales, healthcare, retail, nonprofits, and government agencies. 

The other job fairs that the college will host will take place in Lee and Chatham counties. 

Additionally, virtual, job-ready boot camps will be offered from 9 a.m. to noon before the start of each fair. These seminars are led by career counselors and coaches, who will discuss resumes, networking and interview skills, and charting education/career paths.
